Yes, as long as the application provides the proper burn rate coverage. Neroshield by Proficient Coatings is capable of meeting and exceeding the values offered by both Monokote and intumescent paint, and at a significant savings to both the customer and the environment.

Lumber/Gypsum/Steel: Majority of applications are done on interior treated surfaces
and/or enclosed spaces for building materials. These are traditionally one-time applications.

Textiles: Dependent on application and use. If it is used on a material/substrate not under heavy traffic or washing requirements (curtains,
decorations, display walls, tents, etc…) one time application should be sufficient. However, reapplication on specific materials can be performed with great efficacy.

Paper/Plastics – we usually work with customers at the manufacturing level and through the extrusion processes, therefore it becomes a part of the material and should not require reapplication.

Please note, Neroshield by Proficient Coatings has been used for extrusion applications in PVC and cable casing and can be used as a substitute material for Antimony Trioxide wherever deemed fit.
